Indian Ladies’ Fashion Designers

Ladies fashion designers are an important feature of the Indian fashion industry. They are considered as trendsetters and are appreciated for their excellent work in every field. However, it has been observed that fashion designers of repute have a difficult time in securing contracts and projects in the global market due to stiff competition from Indian based fashion houses. This has led to a reduction in orders for their Indian based products. Indian fashion designers are also working in co-order with international fashion houses to get custom designed products for women in specific regions and age groups in order to create unique fashion statements.

Alankar Fashion Designers, founded by Arogya Menon & Associates is an internationally known apparel store/ clothing store run by Alankar Group that is basically an Indian outsourcing fashion house. The store has been launched by Arogya Menon in 2021 in Mumbai, India. The company mainly markets in the Indian country but also provides international export options for customized apparel.

Anjum Anand works with global fashion house, C. petula. He is a versatile designer and has worked with leading Indian fashion house, Kodeejuna, for over 5 years. Previously he worked with fashion house, Diesel. He has designed varied attires for both men and women. Most recently he has designed apparels for MGR International, a leading Italian fashion house.

Manish Malhotra is another of the renowned Indian fashion designers. He has been designing and manufacturing fashion accessories, home appliances and garments since 1985. His work is inspired by Indian rural clothing as well as by western and Asian styles. He is specialized in embroidery work and makes innovative footwear, jewelry and garments. His apparel line includes evening gowns and bridal wear.

Priya Paul is one of the younger ladies fashion designers. She has designed clothes for both men and women. Her designs are inspired by traditional Indian dresses, but she also creates pieces that are very trendy and contemporary. Priya Paul founded her clothing range at the age of 21. She has made a steady name for herself in the Indian fashion industry and is now popular around the world.

Parveet Bhatia is another young Indian fashion designer who designs both men’s and women’s wear. Parveet is noted for her eye-catching clothing that combines traditional Indian designs with western styling and patterns. She is well known for creating unique, bold, and fashionable collections. Parveet is designing her own collection of jewelry, shoes, bags, lingerie and other fashion items.
